The nose is crisp and clean. Citrus leads with white fruit and gentle vanilla. There's a clean minerality and faint floral notes that suggest a spirit made with care rather than simply unaged and bottled. On the palate, it's bright and citrus-forward, with soft vanilla and gentle sweetness. The Barbadian character comes through in a subtle roundness — this is smoother than most white rums at 37.5%.
The finish is clean and crisp, with citrus fading to mineral dryness. Brief but satisfying.
How to Drink It
Daiquiris and Mojitos are the obvious choices, and both benefit from the extra character Mount Gay Silver brings. Also excellent in a simple Rum & Soda with a lime wedge — the Barbadian smoothness means you don't need heavy sweeteners to enjoy this in a long drink.
