It's fine. Does the job in a Mojito but I find it a bit thin when sipped neat. The vanilla and light citrus notes are pleasant enough but there's not a lot going on. I'd reach for something with more body for a Daiquiri.

I've done blind tastings with white rums at twice the price and Havana Club 3 always holds its own. The brief barrel ageing gives it a complexity that purely unaged rums just can't match. Soft vanilla, a whisper of oak, clean sugarcane sweetness. Brilliant value.

Marco Andretti — Reliable and consistent

Every bottle tastes the same, which is what you want from a mixing rum. Light body, gentle vanilla and almond notes, clean dry finish. It won't change your life but it'll make a very good cocktail every single time.
